Decks — DFW

Decks engineered and built to last.

Built from the slab up. Inside and out.

Custom wood and composite decks across Dallas, Fort Worth, and the DFW metroplex — single-level, multi-level, and elevated — engineered, permitted, and finished by a licensed general contractor.

Licensed · Insured · Locally managed in DFW

Decks are structural. We engineer footings, framing, and rail systems to code, not to the lowest bid. Most of our deck projects start in the mid-five figures, with composite and elevated builds scaling higher.

FAQ

Common questions.

How long does a typical deck take?+

Most ground-level decks run 2-4 weeks from permit issuance. Multi-level and elevated decks with structural framing and stairs can run 4-8 weeks. Larger deck-and-cover combinations take longer because of roof integration and finish work.

Composite or wood — which is right for me?+

Composite (Trex, TimberTech) costs more upfront but requires almost no maintenance and holds up in Texas heat. Wood costs less but needs staining and sealing every 2-3 years. We walk you through both with your budget in mind.

Do you handle permits and engineering?+

Yes. Elevated decks, decks with roof structures, and decks with electrical require permits. We coordinate structural engineering and permit submittals.

What's a typical budget range?+

Most deck projects start in the mid-five figures. Composite, elevated, and multi-level builds scale higher. We give you a real number after we walk the site.

Do you tie decks into covered patios or pergolas?+

Yes. Deck-and-cover combinations are one of our most common outdoor builds. Structural tie-ins, drainage, and finish integration are planned from the start.

Are you licensed and insured?+

Yes. Integris Builds is a licensed and insured Texas general contractor. We carry general liability and workers' compensation coverage on every project.
