Whole-home renovations touch every system — structure, MEP, envelope, and finish. We run them the way we run commercial work: engineered, permitted, and sequenced. Most of our whole-home projects start in the six figures.

Whole-home scope across DFW.

Our Process

Six steps from first call to ground-breaking.

Every step is a decision point. You can stop before A&E begins, mid-way through A&E (paying only for work completed), or before signing the construction contract. The construction contract is the only commitment that binds you to build with Integris. A modest Integris design coordination fee applies at the A&E phase and credits 100% to your construction budget if you build with us.

Budget Range & Review

You get a real budget document — range, scope, inclusions, exclusions, and watch items. No contract required to see the number. Review it, adjust it, walk away if it’s not right.

Architecture & Engineering

Our Integris A&E Partners — our long-standing licensed Texas architect and structural engineer — develop the plan set. A&E fees are billed at cost with no markup by Integris. Work is staged, so you can stop at any point and pay only for what’s complete. Integris coordinates the process so you have one point of contact for design, permits, and construction. A separate Integris design coordination fee covers our role as liaison, RFI management, code and MEP pre-flight, and process oversight — credited 100% to your construction budget if you build with us.

Construction Contract

Fixed-price construction contract with the locked-in number, payment schedule, warranty, and a clear change-order process. This is the only commitment you sign to build.

HOA, City & Ground-Breaking

We manage HOA architectural review and city permitting; you pay permit fees direct. Once permits are issued, we break ground.

Why Integris

We build the way we run commercial work.

FAQ

Common questions.

How long does a whole-home renovation take?+

Most whole-home renovations run 6-14 months from permit issuance to final punch, depending on scope. Structural changes, envelope work, and MEP upgrades add time. We give you a realistic schedule with the fixed-price proposal.

Can we live in the home during the renovation?+

Sometimes yes for phased projects, but for full gut-and-rebuilds most owners move out. We help you plan around timing and coordinate temporary utility disconnects.

Do you coordinate with architects and engineers?+

Yes. For whole-home scope we coordinate architecture, structural engineering, MEP engineering, and permit submittals as part of the contract.

What's a typical budget range?+

Most whole-home renovations start in the six figures and scale up based on square footage, finish level, and structural scope. We give you a real number after we walk the home.

Do you handle MEP re-routes and upgrades?+

Yes. Full electrical, plumbing, and HVAC re-routes are common on our whole-home scope. Licensed trade partners execute the MEP; we coordinate sequencing, inspections, and finish integration.

Are you licensed and insured?+

Yes. Integris Builds is a licensed and insured Texas general contractor. We carry general liability and workers' compensation coverage on every project.
